ROCHESTER — A memorial service for Barbara J. Stevenson will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Macken Funeral Home Colonial Chapel in Rochester; the Rev. Bruce Buller will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Stevenson, 83, formerly of Rochester, died Nov. 18, 2007, at East Ridge Village Health Center in Miami.
Barbara Ramker was born Sept. 8, 1924, in Clarksville, Iowa, and graduated from Clarksville High School in 1942. She married Francis Stevenson on March 22, 1947. They resided in Waterloo, Iowa, before moving to Rochester in 1953. In retirement, they lived in Naples, Fla., before returning to Rochester in 1988. Mrs. Stevenson had resided in Miami since 1994. She enjoyed gardening, shell collecting, bird watching and reading.
Survivors include a son, Barry of Miami; a daughter, Sally (Lester) Neeb of Wabasha; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Audrey Hogan of New Albin, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, Dean.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at Macken Funeral Home.
