Barr makes a ‘Friend’

Post-Bulletin, Rochester MN

Eva Barr has a long association with David Schwimmer, known to many as Ross on the TV show "Friends."

Schwimmer was a fellow student at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., and the two were part of a group that founded Lookingglass Theatre. Both will perform at the Chicago theater during its upcoming season.

Barr will be in the company’s first show of the season, "The Brothers Karamazov," an adaptation of the Dostoyevsky classic, running Oct. 15-Dec. 7.

Schwimmer will return to play the adolescent George Gibbs in "Our Town," the Thornton Wilder classic. The show will run from Feb. 11 to April 5.
