ROCHESTER -- The funeral for Betty Joyce Atkinson will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Ranfranz Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. David Mead officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens.
Miss Atkinson, 75, of Rochester, a former Ability Building Center employee, died Wednesday (April 3, 2002) at Saint Marys Hospital. She had been living at Bear Creek Care and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born July 24, 1926, in Haverhill Township, Olmsted County, and lived in the area all her life. She enjoyed embroidering and playing cards and games.
Survivors include a brother, Elton Atkinson of Carson City, Nev. Four brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
