AUSTIN — The funeral for Beverly Beebe Bernhardt will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin, with the Rev. David DeFor officiating. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery, Austin, at a later date.
Mrs. Bernhardt, 79, of Austin, died Tuesday (April 15, 2008) at Meadow Manor in Grand Meadow.
She was born Nov. 14, 1928, in Austin, where she grew up and attended school. She married Merlin Beebe on Nov. 11, 1944; they had four sons. After her children were grown, she worked at Gerard from 1974 to 1989. She married Walter Bernhardt in Illinois in 1989. She was active in the Ladies Auxiliary, Moose Lodge and Eagles Club, and enjoyed doing ceramics, cooking, baking, collecting stuffed animals and working with children.
Survivors include four sons, Merlin Beebe of Ham Lake, Minn., Francis Beebe of Blue Springs, Mo., Gaylord Beebe and Patrick Beebe, both of Minneapolis; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
Visitation will be an hour before the service at Worlein Funeral Home.
