Bicyclist reports pair robbed him

From staff reports

A man riding his bike in a southeast Rochester park reported he was robbed after two men told him to stop, then took his bike and cash.

Police Capt. Jim Pittenger said the 43-year-old Rochester man said he was riding on a bike trail in Slatterly Park about 6:40 p.m. Wednesday when two men told him to stop. He did and said one man pushed him off the bike and another grabbed his shirt, demanded money and threatened to beat him up. He gave the man his cash. The two then fled, taking the bike. The man went to a nearby store to call police. Pittenger said the man's loss totals $125.

The suspects are described as black men, both in their late 20s. One was said to be 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing about 200 to 225 pounds, wearing a blue bandanna on his head, a red shirt, blue jeans and missing some front teeth. The other man was reported as being of medium build, short, wearing a grey shirt and dark pants.
