The swaying sounds of doo-wop music will be heard during the Class of 1957 Oldies Spectacular Sept. 13 at the Paramount Theatre in Austin.
The Doo Wop All Stars, Freddy Scott and Bobby Lewis will perform in the concert, which starts at 7:30 p.m.
Scott's hits included "Hey Girl" in 1963 and "Are You Looking for Me" in 1967. Lewis went to No. 1 on the Billboard charts in 1961 with "Tossin' &; Turnin'" and followed that with "One Track Mind" later the same year. Other artists from the era are featured in the Doo Wop All Stars.
