The Rochester Honkers open a two-game home series tonight against Brainerd. Game time today and Friday is 7:05 p.m. at Mayo Field. Friday’s game is "Plunger Night" at the ballpark, presented by Mr. Rooter Plumbing and Classic Hits 107.7. The first 500 fans will receive free plungers, and the "Plunger Girls" will perform. Tonight is "Chamber Night," presented by Charter Communications.
Girls basketball
The AAU Girls Basketball 12-and-Under National Championship begins Saturday at sites around the Rochester area. Games will be held at the Mayo Civic Center, Byron High School, Century High School and University Center Rochester Performance Courts. The tournament runs through July 7.
