LAKE CITY -- The funeral for Bill C. Kinyon will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Macken Funeral Home in Rochester, with the Rev. Orin Sandberg officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Kinyon, 58, of Lake City, died Friday (Oct. 22, 2004) at Rochester Methodist Hospital.
He was born July 25, 1946, in Rochester, where he attended school. In 1965, he married Pam Williams, and they later divorced. On Dec. 16, 1979, he married Gail Okamoto, and they later divorced. Mr. Kinyon worked as a tree trimmer for more than 35 years, owning his own business for the last 25 years. He attended Valley View Assembly of God Church in Lake City and enjoyed fishing, music, dancing and boating.
Survivors include one son, Jeff Ward of Rochester; three daughters, Heidi (Eric) Blankenship of Albert Lea, Tina (Richard) Henninger of Melba, Idaho, and Vannessa King of Pine Island; five grandchildren; and one brother, Paul (Cathy) of Rochester. His parents and one sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. to the time of the service on Monday.
