ROCHESTER — The Riverland men’s golf team competed in a triangular hosted by Rochester Community and Technical College on Thursday at Maple Valley Golf Course.
Rochester won the men’s event with a team score of 306, beating Century College of St. Paul (340) and Riverland of Austin (368).
Ben Klein of RCTC shared medalist honors with Century’s Dan Ross, both with 75s on the par-71 course. Klein is from Faribault.
Adam Ruhter had the low round for the Riverland Blue Devils with an 89 on the day. David White shot a 90, Jason O’Donnell 92, Ryan Wiechmann 97 to round out the team score. Isaac Van Proosdy also tallied a round of 133 for Riverland.

Rochester had the only complete women’s team in their triangular and scored 297. Rochester’s Carol Rennie, of Pine Island, was medalist with 90. Julie Schroeder of Riverland shot a round of 186.
Riverland hosts a five-team meet on Tuesday at the Austin Country Club.
