Construction equipment valued at $18,000 was stolen from a Rochester-area paving company overnight Monday.
According to the Olmsted County Sheriff's Department, Road Constructors, a business in the 6400 block of Bandel Road Northwest, reported a 2000 Bobcat skid loader, its trailer and a starting unit were taken sometime between 5:30 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The equipment was stored outside, in the business' parking lot. The burglar apparently unhooked the trailer and drove off with it.
