NEVIS, Minn. — Authorities are trying to identify a body found after a house fire in rural Nevis.
Firefighters found the house engulfed in flames when they arrived Thursday.
Family members said only one person was living at the house. After the fire was put out, investigators and firefighters found the remains of one person in the rubble.
The body was taken to the Ramsey County medical examiner for an autopsy and identification.

The Hubbard County sheriff’s office and the state fire marshal are investigating the cause of the fire.
