Ag futures trade higher
CHICAGO (AP) — Agriculture futures were higher Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery rose 1.5 cents to $5.355 a bushel; December corn gained 0.5 cent to $3.54 a bushel; December oats rose 3.75 cents to $1.995 a bushel; and January soybeans advanced 3 cents to $8.86 a bushel.
Beef and pork futures traded higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
December live cattle rose 1.6 cents to 87.42 cents a pound; January feeder cattle gained 0.8 cent to 92.2 cents a pound; December lean hogs were 0.95 cent higher at 58.67 cents a pound; and February pork bellies rose 1.45 cents to 93.5 cents a pound.
