Three Spartans get first goals

Rochester Mayo needed most of the first period to find its rhythm, then the Spartans breezed to a Big Nine Conference victory against Austin at Graham Arena.

Tom Alexander led Mayo with a seven-point night (two goals, five assists), while Alex Whitney (five goals, one assist) and Brad Fisher (one goal, five assists) each had six points.
