Notes: This was the last regular season match for Mayo, which finished 9-0 in Big Nine Conference duals and 11-2 overall. "This was a quality win against a top five or six team in the state. Our second and third doubles postions really played well after falling behind eary," Mayo coach Jeff Demaray said.

Mayo is the No. 1 seed in the south half of the Section One, Class AA tournament. The Spartans have a bye from the opening round today (Tuesday). Mayo will play host to a quarterfinal game at 4:30 p.m. Thursday against the winner of Lakeville North and Austin.
