A master of ceremonies with a celebrity voice will preside over Monday's youth banquet to benefit the Boys &; Girls Club of Rochester.
Rod Johnson, public address announcer and marketing manager for the Minnesota Timberwolves, will emcee the Make a Difference-Sponsor a Youth Banquet, the second annual fund-raising dinner for the club.
The banquet begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Rochester Elks Lodge, 915 15th Ave. S.E.
The banquet will highlight the talents of members of the club. They'll perform in a variety show, which will include singing, dancing, readings and a skit. The club's 2002 Youth of the Year recipient will be named at the banquet, and 28 youths in the community will be honored for making a difference in their lives or the lives of others.
