Anne Breland, freshman guard from Rochester, was named to the Region XIII All-Region team for her outstanding play this past season.
Breland averaged 17.5 ppg and 8.0 rbpg for the 2008 MCCC state and Southern Division champion Rochester Community and Technical College women’s basketball team.
Her season was highlighted with tying an NJCAA D-III record by scoring 45 points in RCTC's victory over Minnesota West on Feb. 2.
"We are extremely proud of Anne and everything that she accomplished this season," head coach Steve Hucke stated. "This is a well-deserved honor for Anne."
RCTC finished the season as Region XIII A runner-up and was 26-4 on the season, and ranked third in the NJCAA D-III.
