BRIEFS Burnsville hacker receives jail sentence

MINNEAPOLIS -- A Burnsville man who hacked into police radio communications -- sometimes urging officers to shoot suspects -- was sentenced on Tuesday to four months in jail and another two in his home.

Aaron Goldberg, 32, was arrested Feb. 4 after an officer leaving a medical emergency heard a man twice say "You betcha" in response to paramedics. The officer spotted Goldberg in a nearby car.

Goldberg pleaded guilty Feb. 26 to obstructing the legal process by interfering with official radio transmissions.
