Beautiful Baby contest Saturday

The New Star Discovery regional Most Beautiful Baby Contest will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Apache Mall in Rochester.

Registration due for family classes

; The fall session of Family to Family education classes offered by NAMI Olmsted County begins Sept. 5. The 12-week course is for family members of persons with a mental illness, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, clinical depression or anxiety disorders.

Band Wiggles onstage in Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Wiggles, a popular children's entertainment group from Australia, will perform at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday at the Historic State Theatre in Minneapolis.

La Leche League meets Tuesday


La Leche League meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Good Shepherd Church in Rochester.

The general topic will be "The Art of Breast Feeding and Avoiding Difficulties." La Leche League is a nonprofit organization providing information and support for breastfeeding mothers. Babies are always welcome.
