SlimFast is giving consumers more snacks to choose from. The SlimFast Snack Options Low Fat Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwich, Low Fat Chocolate Ice Cream Sandwich and Chocolate Fudge Bar are the first ice cream snack options to be part of the SlimFast plan. The snacks are marketed by Good Humor-Breyers Ice Cream and are available in packs of six for $4.80 for the sandwiches and $4 for the fudge bars. Single-serve SlimFast Chocolate Fudge Bars will be sold for $1 in freezer cabinets.

Because fresh Supersweet corn is in the supermarket most of the year, from October to July, a new leaflet offers a variety of serving ideas. Recipes include Crunchy Supersweet Corn Salad, Roasted Supersweet Succotash and Hickory Broiled Supersweet Corn. The leaflet also provides nutrition information and helpful tips on selecting and storing fresh corn. Create a spice blend contest
McCormick's is searching for America's newest spice blend. A $10,000 grand prize will be awarded to the person who creates the most innovative and delicious spice blend. In addition, the grand prize winner will have his or her blend produced and sold with name recognition on the bottle. Four runners-up will each receive $500 and a customized spice rack. Monthly wine dinners planned
The Austin Holiday Inn and Conference Center will be hosting a series of monthly wine dinners. The first is scheduled for Friday. Each month the entrees and the wines will change.
