Lourdes High School crowned Chris Brunkhorst and Cassie Johnson as its homecoming king and queen Oct. 8.
Chris is the son of Erin and Geoff Brunkhorst. He is the school's football captain, is a library aide, and participates in basketball, track and the science club. His college plans include football.
Cassie is the daughter of Stephanie and Steve Johnson. She is involved in tennis, basketball, softball, PALS, the Cultural Exchange Club and Project 540. She also is a Eucharistic minister. She is considering college at the University of Minnesota or the University of Iowa.
The other court members were Michelle Howard, Brigid Lane, Anna Moes, Jenny Murray, Hugh Gorman, Tyler Kodet, Andrew Johnson and Danny Warner.

Lourdes had a homecoming dance last weekend, and its football team beat Stewartville High School 19-0.
