Bryce L. Haugen -- Zumbrota

ZUMBROTA -- The funeral for Bryce L. Haugen will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Zumbrota, with the Rev. Bruce Peterson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Haugen, 21, died Thursday (July 21, 2005) at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester following an ATV accident.

He was born April 21, 1984, in Rochester. He grew up in rural Zumbrota, and graduated from Zumbrota-Mazeppa High School in 2003. He attended Red Wing Transitional School for several years. He farmed with his brother, father and grandfather, and worked at the Route 52 Truck Wash in Zumbrota and at DBI in Red Wing.

He enjoyed driving ATVs and snowmobiles, playing video games, and spending time with his grandfather.

Survivors include his father, Kent (Monica Poncelet) Haugen of Zumbrota; his mother, Debra (Steve) Luptak of Park Falls, Wis.; three brothers, Brian (Melissa) Haugen of Zumbrota, Shannon (Devon) Haugen of Mazeppa, and Shawn Haugen of Zumbrota; grandparents Greg Haugen of Zumbrota, and Marcy Haugen of Zumbrota, and Lois Nehring of Mazeppa, and Charles and Margaret Pauli of St. Louis, Mo. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Victor Nehring.


Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Mahn Funeral Home Larson Chapel in Zumbrota, and an hour before the service Monday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to the Bryce Lee Haugen Memorial Fund.
