LANESBORO -- The funeral for Burnett J. Bue will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at North Prairie Lutheran Church in rural Lanesboro, with the Rev. Ronald Warnes officiating. Burial with military rites will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Bue, 88, of rural Lanesboro, a retired farmer, died Friday (Nov. 12, 2004) at his home.
He was born Dec. 20, 1915, in Granite Falls, Minn. He had lived in rural Lanesboro since the age of 4. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include two brothers, Harvey Sr. (Ruth) of rural Lanesboro, and Kenneth of Mesa, Ariz.; and one sister, Myrtle Street of Chatfield. A brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call an hour before the service Monday at the church.
