"The truth hurts," but lies do too. Who can deny the fact that the U.S. economy is a mess and the never-ending war in Iraq is a contributing factor? George "stay the course" Bush obviously is trying to dig himself out of that hole, not seeming to realize that the more he digs the deeper he goes.
The American people are overwhelmingly against the war. Why does Bush try to force democracy on other countries when he denies it here by ignoring the will of his own people?
Some are offended by Barack Obama for being "too honest." Obama realizes that we all are living in the same world and must move forward together. We should reject the self-centered me, me, me attitude and think in terms of we, we, we. The war and unemployment are not working. We must try to get along; after all, we are all in this together.
