Binkowski stuns Butler
MINNEAPOLIS — Raphael Butler of Rochester suffered just his fourth pro loss in 29 fights with a last-second setback to Art Binkowski on Friday night at Target Center.
Butler (25-4) dropped Art Binkowski (15-1-3) three times in round one as Binkowski barely survived. Binkowski, who appeared in the movie "Cinderella Man" as Corn Griffin, then came back to knock down a weary Butler with a sudden attack in the eighth and final round. The bout was stopped with 37 seconds remaining.
It was the ninth knockout for Binkowski. Butler had entered the fight with eight straight wins and 20 knockouts.
