Lester Building Systems has signed a letter of intent to purchase substantially all of the assets of the Lester business from Butler Manufacturing Company.
The parties anticipate completing a definitive purchase agreement during the next several weeks, with the transaction's closing in late June or early July.
Financial terms of the transaction weren't disclosed.
Lester Building Systems was established in 1947 and was purchased by Butler Manufacturing Company in 1986.
