Buzzer 3-20 DONE

This one deserves suspension

If the Wild’s Chris Simon had done what Torrey Mitchell did Wednesday night, Simon would be out of the NHL. But, the league isn’t watching Mitchell 24/7.

As Wild defenseman Kurtis Foster chased a puck in his own end, Mitchell shoved him into the boards from behind, causing Foster to be taken off on a stretcher with a broken femur.

Mitchell should give thanks that Foster didn’t hit the boards head first.

That Mitchell only was given a two-minute minor penalty was a shame. If the NHL does not issue a more severe punishment, it will be a joke.
