Byron's Maggert to play basketball at RCTC

Byron High School senior Jenna Maggert has verbally committed to play women's basketball next season at Rochester Community and Technical College.

Maggert, a guard, is a three-year starter for Byron. She has also committed to play soccer for the Yellowjackets.

"Jenna is the type of basketball player who we are trying to get here at RCTC," Yellowjackets coach Steve Hucke said. "She is someone who plays from start to finish, can shoot the three-pointer, get after it defensively and is an all-around good kid."

RCTC is currently 10-5 overall and 0-3 in the Minnesota Community College Conference.
