Cancer prevention is topic for fair

From staff reports

A cancer prevention fair is planned for March 5 at Mayo Civic Center in Rochester.

Learn about prevention, early detection and treatment of cancer with displays, interactive exhibits and games. Visitors may stroll through a larger-than-life colon and listen to lungs talk.

Cancer projects from Rochester Schools' Science Fair will be displayed.

There will be 2004 World Series baseballs signed by Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Cardinals players available to bid on.

The fair is sponsored by the American Cancer Society, Mayo Clinic Cancer Center and Department of Internal Medicine, and University of Minnesota-Rochester.
