LONSDALE -- Cannon Falls will represent the Third District in the American Legion Division II state tournament that starts Friday in Northfield and Dundas.
Cannon Falls defeated LeSueur 4-1 but lost a pair in the championship round to Jordan, 8-0, Saturday and 5-2 on Sunday in the double-elimination tournament.
Even though Cannon Falls finished second, it still qualfied for the state as the host team. Cannon Falls plays at 7 p.m. Friday against the District Nine champion.
