ROCHESTER — Carolyn Iverson, 67, of Santa Maria, Calif., died April 3, 2008.
The former Carolyn Starkson was born in Rochester in 1940. She worked off and on as an RN for more than 40 years, retiring in 2000. She and her husband, Ron, were married 47 years. In retirement, they enjoyed traveling and volunteering.
She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Lori (Jeff) Bray of Kingsburg, Calif., Dian (Michael) Bombard of North Augusta, S.C., and Lisa (Jay) Smith of Santa Maria; five grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Starkson of St. Augustine, Fla. Other survivors include an aunt and several cousins in the Rochester area. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Vivian Starkson; and two brothers, Duane Starkson and Dennis Starkson.
Services for Mrs. Iverson were held April 8 at the First Christian Church in Santa Maria.
