Catherine G. Dutcher -- Austin

AUSTIN -- A funeral Mass for Catherine G. Dutcher will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin, with the Rev. Paul Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Austin.

Mrs. Dutcher, 95, of Austin, a homemaker, died Wednesday (July 24, 2002) at Sacred Heart Care Center in Austin.

Catherine G. Murphy was born April 28, 1907, in Guckeen, Minn. On Oct. 21, 1933, she married Harry A. Dutcher in Austin.

Survivors include two sons, Tom (Jill) of Kila, Mont., and Dan (Dorothy) of Bethel, Minn.; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Madeline Beaver of Santa Ana, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband, five brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Mayer Funeral Home in Austin. There will be a Council of Catholic Women rosary at 4 p.m. and a wake service at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
