GOODHUE -- The funeral for Celia Anna Puppe will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Goodhue with the Rev. Randall Kuznicki officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Goodhue.
Mrs. Puppe, 91, of Goodhue, died Sunday evening (June 15, 2003) at Fairview Seminary Home in Red Wing.
Celia Anna Diercks was born May 5, 1912, in Goodhue where she grew up and attended school. On Sept. 30, 1933, she married Carl Puppe at the Grace Lutheran Church parsonage in Goodhue and they lived in Goodhue all their married lives. Her husband died Nov. 30, 1988. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two sons, Lyle of St. Paul and Gerald (Karen) of Goodhue; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Stella Raasch of Red Wing and Elsie Strusz of Kenyon. Four brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the church from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and an hour before the service Wednesday.
