Century/John Marshall in state lacrosse semifinals

RICHFIELD — Rochester Century/John Marshall beat Anoka 6-5 in boys lacrosse in the club league state tournament quarterfinals on Friday.

Rochester led 6-3 in the fourth quarter and held on for victory.

Samson Deml scored three goals for Rochester, Bryan Frischmann scored two goals and Matt Madden had one goal.

Michael Bowman had 22 saves in goal for Rochester.

Mayo/Lourdes faces Hastings in a quarterfinal game today at 7:30 p.m. at Academy of Holy Angels in Richfield.

Century/John Marshall is 13-1 overall and faces Andover in the state semifinals on Wednesday at 5:15 p.m. at Academy of Holy Angels.
