CHATFIELD — The Southland girls went out on the road for the first time this season and dropped a Three Rivers Conference volleyball match to the Chatfield Gophers on Thursday night.
The home team took the first game by a 25-10 margin and the visitors were never able to rally in the conference match. The Gophers cruised to a 17-point win in the second game. The Southland Rebels played a competitive third game, but couldn’t prevent the sweep.
Southland (1-2, 0-2 TRC) travels to Blooming Prairie for a non-conference match on Tuesday night.
