Chinese New Year celebrated Friday

The Rochester Chinese Culture Association will welcome the Year of the Horse with a Chinese New Year celebration Friday night at the Kahler Grand Hotel.

Dinner will be at 6:30 p.m., followed by a program and dance featuring the Chinese American Dance Theater, from Minneapolis. Traditional and modern Chinese dances will be demonstrated.

For members of RCCA, tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children; for non-members, tickets are $20 ($25 at the door) for adults, $12 for children. Advance tickets are available at Wong's Cafe, Saigon Far East, or by calling 288-4251 or 285-1155.
