Christmas comes early to Mayowood Mansion, with tours of the historic Mayo family home offered weekends Nov. 5 through Nov. 21.
Mayowood will be decorated for the holiday season. Daytime tours feature docents in each room and light refreshments. Evening guided tours include a dessert buffet. A gift shop is open during all tours.
Daytime tours are at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Fridays, hourly from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays, and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays. Admission is $15 for adults, $8 for children 15 and younger. Evening tours are at 7 p.m. Nov. 6, 12, 13, 19 and 20. Admission is $25.
