PETERSON -- The funeral for Clarissa I. Klinski will be 11 a.m. Monday at Grace Lutheran Church in Peterson, with Peter Huggenvik officiating. Burial will be in West Grace Cemetery in Peterson.
Mrs. Klinski, 88, a retired Rushford Products employee, died Thursday (Aug. 2, 2002) at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Rushford, where she had lived four years.
Clarissa Irene Nelson was born April 1, 1914, in Spring Grove. On Oct. 3, 1935, she married Luverne Klinski in Caledonia. Mrs. Klinski worked for Rush Products until her retirement in 1985. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Peterson and its Sarah Circle, and enjoyed crocheting, bird-watching and quilting with her church circle.
Survivors include three sons, Kermit (Shirley) of Plum City, Wis., Jerome (Beverly) of Peterson and Douglas (Hazel) of Black Hawk, S.D.; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Arlene (Charles) Baker and Evelyn Harpstrieth, both of La Crosse, Wis. She was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hoff Funeral Homes-Rushford Chapel and an hour before the service Monday at the church.
