College sports lecture set at RAC

A presentation geared toward high school athletes who would like to compete at the collegiate level, either Division I, II or III, will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Courtside Room at the Rochester Athletic Club.

The lecture, "College Sports: Learning what it takes to get there,'' will be presented by 1994 Rochester Mayo graduate Ruth Brennan. She was a "recruited walk-on'' at the University of Wisconsin in soccer and is presently doing an internship for her graduate program at Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine.

The lecture is free and open to the public.
