ST. PAUL — The trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system are set to approve a nearly $404 million capital budget request. Nearly two-thirds of the money would go toward repair and replacement of existing buildings.
The MnSCU trustees are meeting today to approve a two-year capital budget request starting in 2010 for its colleges and universities throughout the state. About $306 million would come from state financing.
If approved, the budget will be sent to the governor for consideration in the 2010 bonding bill.
