A southeast Rochester intersection has been turned into an art display after volunteers turned out to paint a mural on the pavement.
Rain delayed the painting schedule one day. Nonetheless, painters brushed a floral design at Fifth Avenue and Seventh Street Southeast on Sunday.
The original design, by local artist Susan Waughtal, is the pilot project for RColorful Corners, a beautification and neighborhood involvement program.
The program is fielded by RNeighbors, which helps neighborhood associations in Rochester.
