COMMENT A few years ago I had the privilege of covering the Masters at Augusta National. Due to some jockeying by tournament officials, Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer were paired for Sunday's final round. The two legends were way out of contention.

To this day, that duo walking up the 18th fairway to a thunderous ovation remains one of my top thrills in sports. It was an emotional high I'll never forget. I can still feel those chills going up my spine.

Today, Palmer will walk up that same 18th fairway for the final time during Masters competition. You can only imagine the ovation -- a well-deserved one -- that he's going to receive.

You'll get those same chills when watching Palmer on TV, but those lucky souls who are in Augusta today will cherish a moment they, too, will never forget.
