The Community Good Friday Service, led by the Austin Area Ministerial Association, will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church, 204 First Ave. N.W.
There will also be a time for children to gather and think about Good Friday with First Church Children and Family Ministry Coordinator Sara Burkhart.
Offerings will be collected to support the food shelf at the Salvation Army and to support the community baccalaureate service for graduating seniors in the spring.
Offerings can be food or financial. Everyone is welcome.
