• The Rochester Art Center board of directors named its new members for 2009 during its annual meeting Nov. 19.
New members are: Sheila Broughton, artist and community volunteer; Manuel de Angel, certified public accountant for McGladrey and Pullen; Betty Devine, artist; Francesca Dickson, public affairs consultant for Mayo Clinic; Mary Dunlap, attorney for Dunlap and Seeger; David Herbert, chief administrative officer for Mayo Collaborative Services; and Roger Stahl, attorney for Wendland, Utz, Stahl and Mintz.
Dr. Sylvester Sterioff was named 2009 president. Alison Good was presented with the Leadership Award for her service in 2008 as board president. Dr. Richard Brubaker was awarded the Newton Holland Volunteer of the Year award for leading the Membership Matching Challenge Fund.
