Concert to honor Red House Record’s founder

ST. PAUL — A benefit concert is planned in St. Paul to honor the memory of Red House Records founder and president Bob Feldman, who died in January 2006 after battling several illnesses.

A concert celebrating Feldman’s life and love of music will be Sept. 9 at the Fitzgerald Theater in downtown St. Paul.

Musicians who have recorded for the small independent label and who are scheduled to perform include Greg Brown, Eliza Gilkyson, John Gorka, Peter Ostroushko, Robin and Linda Williams, Dave Moore, Claudia Schmidt, Tony Glover and Dean Magraw.

Proceeds will benefit the Bob Feldman Redwood Forest Fund. Tickets go on sale July 10.


Donations to the Bob Feldman Redwood Forest Fund may be sent to The Minneapolis Foundation, 800 IDS Center, 80 S. Eighth St., Minneapolis, MN 55402. Checks should be made payable to "Bob Feldman Fund of TMF."
