ROCHESTER — The funeral for Connie M. Faldet will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bethel Lutheran Church in Rochester, with the Rev. Norman Wahl officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood East Cemetery.
Mrs. Faldet, 57, of Rochester, died Thursday (Nov. 13, 2008) at her home.
Connie M. Sheldon was born March 25, 1951, in Rochester. She grew up in Rochester and graduated from Lourdes High School. She later graduated from Rochester Junior College with a degree in business.
She married Dennis Faldet on Sept. 16, 1978, in Rochester. He preceded her in death on Oct. 27, 2000.
Mrs. Faldet worked for Mayo Clinic for 30 years. She currently worked for Child Care Resource and Referral. She enjoyed gardening, camping and boating, and spending time with her family and grandson.

She is survived by a daughter, Stacey (Trevor) Nelson of Rochester; a grandson, Layne; two sisters, Bonnie (Rand) Conway of Lake City and Sally McQuiston of Alma, Wis.; and two brothers, Rocky (Julie) Sheldon of Rochester and James (Roberta) Sheldon of Eyota. Other survivors include a brother-in-law, Gary (Marcia) Fritzmeier of Rochester; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a sister.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Macken Funeral Home in Rochester, and an hour before the service Tuesday at the church.
