Construction work begins Tuesday on Fifth Place Northwest in Rochester. The street, which runs between 16th Avenue and Civic Center Drive, provides access to several businesses, including Daube's Bakery. Access to businesses will be preserved during construction, but the street will be closed to through traffic.
The street will be resurfaced, with new concrete curb and gutter added. The job is scheduled for completion in early October.
