ROCHESTER -- The funeral for Cora R. Dinneen will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Macken Colonial Chapel, with Deacon Dick Mangen officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Dinneen, 97, of Rochester, a retired cosmetic therapist, died Monday (March 8, 2004) at her home.
Cora R. Treangen was born Dec. 31, 1906, in Spring Grove and lived in Rochester most of her life. On Aug. 17, 1927, she married John L. "Jack" Dinneen at St. John's Catholic Church in Rochester. Her husband worked at Rochester State Hospital and was a former Olmsted County deputy and bailiff. He died in 1988. Mrs. Dinneen was a ward nurse at Rochester State Hospital and later was a cosmetic therapist until retiring on Feb. 3, 1965. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and Rochester State Hospital Retired Employees Association..
Survivors include three nephews and a niece. Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call an hour before the service Friday at the funeral home.
