Lifeguards will compete against each other today in the Southeast Minnesota Chapter of the American Red Cross' 13th annual Lifeguard Olympics at 7 p.m. at the Rochester Recreation Center.
Teams of lifeguards from pools in Olmsted County and surrounding counties will compete in eight events including relays, victim rescue lift, a sprint and tug of war.
Spectators are welcome. Admission is free.
