A Rochester couple was injured when the motorcycle they were on collided with a dog near Dover on Friday evening.
The Olmsted County Sheriff's Department said the accident occurred about 7:30 p.m. in the 17000 block of Olmsted County Road 9 near Dover.
Authorities said Delmar Smith, 54, and his passenger, Jean Smith, 47, both from Rochester, collided with the dog, causing them to crash. Both were taken to Saint Marys Hospital by Gold Cross Ambulance. No condition report was available this morning. The dog was killed in the accident.
