Cowboy humorist joins Oak Center lineup

OAK CENTER -- Cowboy singer and humorist Pop Wagner rides into Oak Center for a concert at 2 p.m. April 4 at the Oak Center General Store.

Wagner, with his 10-gallon hat and droopy mustache, twirls his lasso, tells tall tales and sings songs that might have been heard around the campfire in the old West.

Note that this concert was not on the original Oak Center Folk Forum schedule. Wagner is taking the slot that opened when the Flying Poetry Circus show was canceled.

Tickets are $5 to $10 in advance, with patrons paying what they can afford. Tickets at the door are a flat $10. For advance reservations, send a check in the proper amount to Oak Center General Store, Route 1 Box 52BB, Lake City MN 55041.
